For me, October marks the beginning of autumn, a season of change and transition. Fitting then, that my personal life should be undergoing a period of serious upheaval this month, in an extremely wonderful way…
I’m thrilled to announce the birth of my son, baby H, who arrived earlier this month weighing 7lb 13oz!
We’ve been home for a little over a week now and are enjoying our time in a warm cocoon of bonding and recuperation. His big sister E has taken to her new role with gusto and is besotted with him. We’re all doing well and very happily adjusting to life as a family of four.

Of course, this means I may remain a little out of reach for a while, so apologies in advance if I’m slow to reply to any messages. Book 3 in The Walker Witch Files, Saving Nessie is still lined up for release in November and things are progressing nicely in the background. I recently had the final cover design sent over, so you can expect to see a cover reveal in the near-ish future! I tend not to post often on this blog, so it’s worth following me on Facebook or Instagram for slightly more regular updates.
For now, I’m going back to baby snuggles for a while longer. If you need me, I’ll be in my rocking chair with a lukewarm mug of hot chocolate in one hand and a half-finished crochet baby blanket on my lap, while a tiny human snores adorably on my shoulder.
